This week at the grocery store:

  • Coca-Cola Blak

The dumbed down for North Americans version of the mediocre Coca-Cola Blāk from France. Now less flavorful with HFCF in lieu of beet sugar. It really isn’t terrible, but it’s just there. It’s not unlike Mr. Brown’s or other canned coffees which I think of as coming from Asia, but carbonated and creamy too. And yet it isn’t weird or particularly interesting. 99 cents per bottle or $4.99 for a four-pack.

  • Berries & Cream Dr. Pepper

Apparently this isn’t even out of test marketing yet, and Austin isn’t a test market. A single 12-pack of 12 oz cans was among the “Fridge Pak”s of Diet Pepsi. The case is purple, and despite what I saw on the DPSU website, the box was marked “Berries ‘N’ Cream”. According to BevNet, the cream soda-ish flavor predominates.

I’m picking up a shift tonight.

I am still a nervous wretch.

I hate this.
