You know, doing what I did to/for Mamie’s bike put me in a mind that I would like very much to be more constructive. That is, actually use my body to do practical work. At this hour I am interested in acquiring another bike or perhaps just a frame of similar vintage and over the course of weeks build it up into a well functioning cycle in order to force my feeble mind to learn more of the minutia of the bicycle.

Of course, once this is done I would have trouble disposing of said bicycle. That is I could post it on Craig’s or Ebay or some such, but the actual departure would be rough. Maybe I could give it away.

or I’ll just ruin a perfectly good bicycle.

By the time the sun comes up I’ll be on to something else.
