A symbol of what Americans could do when given the opportunity. A symbol of innovation in every category, but most importantly all of the emotional aspect which, frankly, is what moves product. Similarly a symbol of this era in which further development of the platform was presumed ineffective in contrast to foreign designs.

Through a system of continuous improvement and innovation this same company introduced a model to Australia in 1962 and it is still being made today. Of course, not one bolt is exchangable between the ’62 and the ’07. This used to be how the game was played. Hapesville-Atlanta is officially closed at this hour, although a party in the parking lot is expected to continue into the night.

If they just dared to keep the quality control up …
