Songbird just became available in a Ubuntu idiot-proof version. I don’t really do music, as you know, but having stumbled upon it recently I piqued my interest.

Just shut up and go get it.

What the world needs now is a free-as-in-speech iTunes analog. This is it. It is free-as-in-beer, too. On Ubuntu it needs Mozilla/Firefox and Java. I don’t know about other OSes. It’s impressive and only up to version 0.02.
